I would like to take a moment to recognize Mr. Craig Darrah for his outstanding job in reaching his goal of 2 million labels! These 2 million labels were sold to the surrounding area labor unions for distribution to their members.  Mr. Darrah is the Financial Treasurer of the St. Louis Union Label & Service Trades Council and also a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 36 in St. Louis, MO. Toward the beginning of this year, 2011, Mr. Darrah decided to donate his own time, gas and mileage to spread his message: Union members can use these stickers to help spread a positive word about the economic impact that their union wages are having in the community. These little yellow labels read "THIS PAYMENT MADE POSSIBLE BY UNION WAGES" and they are to be placed on checks when paying bills. In March, Mr. Darrah surpassed his 1 million mark when he sold a batch to IBEW Local 1. Shortly after, in April, he reached 2 million when the Plumbers & Pipefitters of Local 562 jumped on board. Way to go Craig and thank you!! I would also like to thank all of the Local Unions that purchased these labels from Mr. Darrah. Without you guys the word wouldn't be spread and our jobs therefore wouldn't be protected. These labels are available for purchase at Tri-State Communications.
